Before We Introduce You To Seasonal Living Magazine’s Luxury Virtual Showhouse Sponsors…..
We thought you’d enjoy reading a bit about the story behind how the Showhouse came into being and, if you’d like, we invite you to learn about even more of the backstory by listening to us discuss it on our sponsored podcast with Luann Nigara by clicking here.
It all started back in February of 2020, when Gary Pettitt, the owner of Seasonal Living and the publisher of Seasonal Living Magazine, began thinking about new, innovative, fresh ways to inspire design aficionados around the world.
In addition, he was thinking of relevant ways to contextually showcase his indoor/outdoor products and those of his fellow furniture, lighting and kitchen bath manufacturers to their mutual interior designer customers, given the realities of the pandemic.
Out of those dual desires, Gary conceived the vision for Seasonal Living Magazine’s Luxury Virtual Designer Showhouse, a first of its kind event in the history of the world.
Why is the claim, *First Of Its Kind In The History Of The World* able to be made?
Because this 20,000 square foot estate home, designed and built entirely and only in the virtual world, is the first ever to not only be tourable and shoppable from the safety of your home but it also has both augmented reality product highlights -meaning you can click the QR codes associated with some of the products and see them in your own homes AND you can view it, via virtual reality, on your phone, using Google’s CARDBOARD glasses!
We were honored to have Business of Home, a well known industry trade publication that reaches the international interior design community, break the story of our Virtual Showhouse to their readers.
We invite you to view the link to it at the end of this post.
It’s such an exciting adventure to be on and we are grateful for the 15 sponsoring brands and the 11 nationally known participating interior designer/influencers who said, “YES* when asked if they would like to be a part of it, and who have trusted us to make this vision a reality.
We invite you to meet all the designers in more detail, in this post.
